Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
